I happen to have a fondness for the musical genius of Final Fantasy series composer, Nobuo Uematsu (being my most important keyboard playing origins), and also my childhood game, The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time on the good ol' N64 (AKA the greatest game ever!), composed by Koji Kondo. I cannot deny that this often-understated medium can sometimes leave me astounded! I feel that this has been imperative in developing my strengths as a musician; not forgetting what captivated me most to enjoy music in the first place (before taking to guitar and songwriting).
