I'm looking for someone to jam with pretty much, and depending on how things go, hopefully form a successful alternative rock band; aiming to go all the way, and with the view to write important songs/records where we can. I'm into the 90s "grunge" scene, particularly Smashing Pumpkins and Soundgarden (bands with a strong presence, making music with openheartedness and importance) and it's my utmost desire to try and reignite this, but also taking onboard modern sensibilities such as Muse; realising how current times tend to smother our "hopeless" generation. Kinda starting out as nobodies and developing into a "no-bounds" band; diverse and unrestricted by genre/theme and lyrical content. I've been mostly self-taught guitar for over 2yrs now and have grown much since then...

I already have stacks of song ideas recorded on acoustic and electric guitar, and it would be great to have more input on them to be developed into full works of art. Much of my lyrical ideas are experimental, mostly consisting of dark themes, but it's not all doom and gloom, as they tend to be humorous as of late, though I definitely consider myself more the intelligent lyricist (e.g. been catching onto Matt Bellamy's "paranoia" lately, though am more inclined to write soulfully like Billy Corgan of Smashing Pumpkins), and I'd be more comfortable completing them in an established band setup, aiming to play live (and taking the local scene by storm!).

Let us be of this, the generation revolution.

We waited many years to form this band
Just to see if it were even possible
To do something plausible
On this godforsaken land
